So yes. I know. There are a lot of wingnut banners running on the blog right now. I’m happy to take their money, and I’ve blocked several of the more egregiously far-right ones. But there’s a larger lesson here. The far-right groups buy a ton of online advertising. Meanwhile, where are the liberal ad buys? Wouldn’t it be great to see banners for the DNC or MoveOn or The Nation? Instead, there’s a FREE NEWT banner that’s been running for — what? — at least a year now. GOPAC and Newsmax each buy a ton of advertising (I blocked those guys).
