Nate Silver wrote earlier that the previous Gallup poll showing a 10-point lead for the Republicans on the generic ballot was probably an outlier. You know the one. 51-41.
And it looks like he was exactly right.
The new Gallup poll shows a dead-heat 46-46. Which of course is terrible news for the Democrats. Somehow.
