I’m having a hard time wrapping my brain around the numbers in this chart but then I found this, http://dotearth.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/03/22/new-light-shed-on-north-pole-ice-trends/

I think the numbers on the left are millions of square kilometers. That’s what was confusing.

Hmmm. Having second thoughts about buying oceanfront property in Hawaii. Or, rather, I’ll plan ahead and buy some mountain property which will eventually become oceanfront property by the time I retire.

I’ve been looking for a while now for a map that would show just how much land would be covered by the increase in sea level. Does anyone know of a map online that projects this 100, 200, etc years into the future?
