It’s Three O’clock in the Mornin’

Last week, Governor Scott Walker and the Republicans of Wisconsin passed legislation, which oversaw deep cuts to education and social programs, at 3 a.m. in violation of his own pledge to not, ya’ know, pass legislation at 3 a.m.

In the same budget passed last week at 3 a.m. in the morning which included deep cuts to public education, Wisconsin Assembly Republicans also added a last-minute item to increase funding for privatizing education in the form of vouchers.

The phrase “last-minute” isn’t an exaggeration, as the measure to expand the school voucher program was added by the Republican-controlled Assembly at 2 a.m. with the entire budget passing at 3 a.m.

MADISON (WSAU ) Governor Scott Walker promises not to use his line-item budget vetoes to expand Milwaukee’s private school voucher program throughout Wisconsin this fall. Assembly Republicans sneaked in a last-minute budget item at 2 a-m yesterday which includes a formula for allowing school-choice to expand up to 16 larger cities.

Are coupons the new tax cut?

Need healthcare? Have a coupon! Need education? Have a coupon!

Scott Walker and his henchmen are trying as hard as they possibly can to successfully transplant southern poverty culture to the north. The upcoming recall elections for Wisconsin Senate Republicans, and Scott Walker himself, have to be successful.

You would think the way in which the Gov. Walker and the other scumbag GOP Rethuglicans are going about things would clue the voters in to just how crazy their proposals are. I mean, if you have to run a vote at the last minute and in the middle of the night, doesn’t that imply a certain underhandedness? What the hell is going on and why is anyone in that state letting this happen? I think it is only going to get uglier before they get better. The people have been asleep and when they wake up, FSM help Gov. Walker and his ilk.
