    This is such a cheesy-ass song, and yet, I love it dearly. As the Hold Steady once said (and, Bob, you should be checking them out if you’re not already): “The 80′s almost killed me, let’s not recall them quite so fondly.”

    BTW, as I recall, Simple Minds hated this song and tried to disavow it.
