Cantor’s Protest Pointers

I happened to notice on salon a post that Dennis Ritchie died. Here is the post from wired.

So, who is Dennis Ritchie, you say? He designed the most important part of the telephone system and the internet. Along with other software designers and engineers at Bell Labs in the 1960′s, 70, 80′s and 90′s he developed the C Programming Language and UNIX, the languages of the internet. Steve Jobs was a great marketer and salesman but he couldn’t hold a candle to people like Ritchie.

Just so everyone knows, the MAC OS and just about every other computer OS today, except Windows, is built on the UNIX Kernel.

Has anyone else seen an article put out by Reuters saying that George Soros is the money behind the OWS protests? Did those a-holes ever even look into the Koch Bros being behind the s0-called Tea Party movement? Did they ever report on it? This kind of thing just pisses me off. Their evidence that Soros is behind it rests on two things. First they say he indirectly gave money to a Canadian company called Adbusters that supposedly invented the OWS campaign. Second, Soros and OWS “share some ideological ground”.

If there is big money behind these protests then why are they sleeping on the ground, why don’t they have porta-potties and other amenities….For some reason this delusional paranoid belief that Soros is behind everything liberal is just so friggin irritating to me. And then they MSM doesn’t point out how much corporations are behind protests on the right. Rrrrrrrrrrr

A few minutes later I did a search on Google for how much Soros had given Adbusters and I found an article on Reuters’ own website that is entitled “Soros: Not a funder of Wall Street Protests”….So the one saying he is is prominently displayed in the Yahoo News section but the one saying he isn’t (both by the same News Agency) can only be found by a search for it.
