Don't Let Rick Perry Design Any Bobbleheads

So Rick Perry’s hunting lodge has a rock/sign out front with the name “Niggerhead” painted on it. I’m not sure exactly what that name means in the context of a wealthy white family’s hunting lodge, but that’s what it’s called.

Suffice to say, it’s not good news for Perry’s campaign, but I really don’t think it’s fatal even though it should be. Don’t forget that many of the former McCain/Palin supporters weren’t shy about their racism. But rival Herman Cain spoke out against Perry which, in turn, outraged the far-right who quickly rebuked Cain:

At RedState, Erick Erickson concludes: “It also seems to be a slander Herman Cain is picking up and running with as a way to get into second place.” Glenn Reynolds remarks that until now Cain’s “big appeal is that he’s not just another black race-card-playing politician.” Over at the Daily Caller, Matt Lewis calls Cain’s remarks “a cheap shot, and, perhaps a signal that Cain is willing to play the race card against a fellow Republican when it benefits him.”

That’s right, CNN analyst Erick Erickson is defending Perry’s “Niggerhead” sign and attacking Cain’s reaction. Same with Reynolds, and occasional MSNBC analyst and unfrozen caveman lawyer Matt Lewis.

Well of course they’re throwing Cain under the bus. The Republican Party only likes women and minorities that won’t rock the boat. “Oh sure, you can hang out with us, but the minute you say that any of us might be a racist/sexist/homophobe/bigot, after we say something racist/sexist/homophobic/bigoted, you can’t be our friend anymore.”

What’s hilarious is that all Cain said was that it was insensitive. He didn’t call Perry or the GOP racists, just said it was insensitive, which it is… which of course is the right’s cue to scream “THAT DARKIE IS PLAYING THE RACE CARD!”

That’s right! Who does he think he is after all. Just because he’s Black, successful and running for the highest political office in our country why does he think he has a right to an opinion on such a matter? Geez, some people just don’t know their place. /snark, of course

To his credit, Perry changed the rock to say “Socialist, Kenyan, Muslim-head” several weeks ago.

This is a hugely despicable thing that Perry did. He should be driven out of the country, not just the presidential race. He should forevermore be banned from governing those he enjoys demeaning.

But that won’t happen. The election of a black man, a formidable, highly intelligent, good looking, charming, competent black man, has caused these moronic neanderthal dickheads to come out of the damn closet.

We need to find another closet for them. One on a damn far away island. Maybe they’ll exterminate each other.

I love how every time something like this happens, it plays out the exact same way: 1) story breaks of racist thing attributed to prominent white guy, 2) shock and outrage for a few days, 3) prominent white guy responds with “I didn’t intend it that way”, 4) MSM has other white guys “debate” if it was really racist at all and only minority allowed in conservation is the one who doesn’t find it racist, 5) ultimately it is categorized as another case of the “rampant PC’ers” or us being “over-sensitive” and we all need to just “lighten up.”

I think the sensitivity towards race has become sensitivity to race-baiting. In other words, people are afraid to be accused of race baiting, and do their best to justify and give a pass to racist sentiments. I give it another year before this transitions into sensitivity towards oversensitiveness towards insensitive race comments. http://www.obamaftw.com/blog/republican-party-racism/republican-tea-party-racism

What did I see recently? Something like “Cain calling “N***erhead” insensitive=playing the race card. Cain saying blacks are brainwashed into voting Democratic=sober analysis.”
