Assassin is an Alex Jones Disciple

Just as I thought:

…Mr. Ortega and others watched an antigovernment film on the Internet called “The Obama Deception,” which was written, directed and produced by Alex Jones, a Texas-based conservative talk show host who has espoused a number of conspiracy theories involving the federal government.

Now this doesn’t mean Alex Jones should necessarily be censored. As far as I know, he doesn’t advocate assassination or gun violence. But this evidence goes a long way towards disproving the ridiculous meme that Ortega is an Occupy Wall Street liberal.

His RWNJ bent will NEVER be discussed by the librul media. Just like with every other nutjob that spews right-wing hate, this aspect will be ignored.

    Bad link, Bob.

      Fixed.

Alex Jones lost his credibility and cachet when he claimed that George Bush was building internment camps to imprison political prisoners after he declared himself president for life. What happened? I don’t know if it was Alex Jones, but someone also claimed that the planes that hit the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 were remote controlled drones filled with incendiary devices and it was a remote controlled air force fighter jet that crashed into the pentagon. So the question is, where are all the people who were on board the 3 planes that crashed into buildings? They tried to claim they are in internment camps somewhere in the middle east. Israel or Saudi Arabia. That was when I decided enough. That these 9/11 conspiracy theory whackos were dangerous and I should avoid them.

Dilden, if you would please excuse me for a moment…

As a strict, very strict agnostic, I eschew belief in anything.

I took engineering courses in college, and I know how buildings are designed, and how they fail. Live on television I witnessed those towers collapse. Dan Rather commented that it looked like a demolition, and it did look like a demolition.

The physics involved in the complete failure of every floor beam, vertical column, and every connection that ties everything together goes far beyond what forces those airliners and fuel ever could have inflicted on any American building much less the highest towers in America.

I do not believe speculation any more than you, but I certainly do not believe the 911 commission any more than I believe any other obvious whitewash Congressional commission from previous debacles.

I don’t know what happened, yet I refuse to buy the lame explanation, and I’m not even complaining about the Penatagon anomalies, nor WTC7.

You are certainly free to deny basic physical equations, and accept a Hollywood level of engineering to explain what happened. It is easier to accept the official story, and easier to condemn a heretic. But to say that those 911 conspiracy theory whackos are dangerous, thus to be avoided shows a closed mindedness and (apologies) demonstrates that ignorance is strength.

The ramifications of conspiracy theories are truly scary. What level of corruption do we actually live under? Kennedy was killed in a coup, Iran-Contra made a fortune for the CIA, while millions suffered and died. How many Congressional commissions say, “nope, clean as a whistle”? Every one, that’s how many.

What is dangerous is how we reassure ourselves, and go with orthodoxy lying to ourselves, and ignoring the whacko because we fear taking the red pill. 2+2 will never equal Five.

Sorry, there was no 9/11 conspiracy other than an unconsious conspiracy by Bush, Cheney, and their people at the CIA and FBI to push any evidence of an impending attack by Osama bin Laden under the rug. They didn’t want to deal with it. End of story. If you want to believe that there was a conspiracy that may have been carried out by hundreds or thousands of people, and nobody came forth to tell the truth then you can go right ahead and believe whatever you want.

As for me, I have an engineering degree also. Maybe my electrical engineering degree doesn’t have your skill level in calculating building stress loads but I’m 60 years old and also a student of human nature. My study of human nature tells me that for conspiracies to work the number of people active in the conspiracy must be kept very small. These 9/11 conspiracy theories require that hundreds or thousands of people had to be involved.

I do not have an engineering degree, but do know a few architects and structural engineers who studied the WTC as part of their education. They almost immediately told they were going to fall before they did and why. The integrity of those buildings were the outside framework. Once that got breached by the planes and the heat from the fire, they were bound to collopse outside-in starting from the top. So, it may look like a demolition, but you get the same result from a different reason. And that person is as skepitcal of the govt as anyone and they still know, because they are experts in the field, that it was caused by the planes.

It was just a matter of time before some wingnut talker would be exposed as his inspiration.

I’ve counted a total of four death threats and calls for the President’s assassination on comments on social media sites like Facebook and YouTube over the past couple years. Not one was from a conservative or teabagger. All four were from Alex Jones / Infowars Cultists.

OMG, the conductor on my train gave me this DVD a couple weeks ago. She prefaced the conversation with “now, don’t get mad at me, but this stuff is real. they have proof”. This is the same person that was so incensed at Obama at the beginning of the year because he did “nothing for the people on unemployment but gave the Republicans everything”. I’ve tried steering her in the direction of more grounded criticism of Obama, but she is convinced that this DVD is entirely accurate and proves just how bought he is. I couldn’t make it past the first 15 minutes before having to resist tossing my DVD player against the wall.

Please, Bob! Ortega has a beard, long-ish hair, and is wearing a wool cap! He is clearly a pro-OWS anarchist who wanted to use his “assassination” attempt to give the president the excuse to suspend the second amendment by executive order and take our guns away. Then the UN/Kenyen socialist-nazi army will march on Washington, led by the 1000′s of people who helped plot the 9/11 attacks (but haven’t said a word since) and declare Sharia law and given all our money to minorities.

Geeze, am I the only one thinking around here?!?
