Can’t Tell If Serious

I really can’t.

Mitt Romney speaking today in South Carolina:

“I believe on the issues as well, that I line up with [Tea Party supporters]: a smaller government, a less intrusive government, regulations being pared back, holding down the tax rates of the American people, maintaining a strong defense – and so many Tea Party folks are going to find me, I believe, to be the ideal candidate,” Romney said.

Mitt Romney is either astonishingly naive, or he’s channeling Derp straight out of his ass. Maybe both if he really believes he is the Tea Party’s “ideal candidate.”

I’ll file this one under Comedy.

Mitt Romney is the Presidential Candidate equivalent of the kid we all knew in grade school who would eat paste and boogers and yell, “HEY- HEY-HEY YOU GUYS! WATCH THIS!”, while he did it, unbidden, just so kids MIGHT notice him. Then punch the little overweight kid, who he actually liked, to try again to score points when a mouth full of boogers failed to garner any friends.

Romney is just painful to watch. Absolutely pathetic.

We should get rid of the police force, the fire department, and most of the government agencies including congress. Then we should sit down and have some tea.

And then die because the tea and water to make it are full of unregulated toxins. Just another proud human sacrifice to the ‘free market.’

He’s so desperate for the nomination, he has no clue how badly this pandering will haunt him in the general election.
