    My choice:

“I didn’t sign up for going mano-a-mano with the President of the United States.” John Boehner

This reminds me how much I miss the top ten conservative idiots at DU.

Let’s see.. There was that AWESOME Clooney quote about progressive disillusionment, with a pretty awesome Quote of the Day summation by Bob:

But misinformation, myopia and intellectual dishonesty are winning, both on the far-right and the far-left.

Clooney is pretty awesome (I’ve long had a major crush on the guy)
My son was an extra in “Ides of March”, and between takes, Clooney stood around with the extras, talking to them and entertaining them with jokes.

Doesn’t surprise me about Clooney. Ken Levine:

A few years ago I took a walk after dinner and encountered a shoot for CONFESSIONS OF A DANGEROUS MIND. They were in the long process of setting up a shot and everybody was just milling around. I saw the director just sitting off by himself, casually watching the activity. I walked up and said hello. We knew a lot of mutual people in television so breaking the ice was easy. Long story short, I spent the next half hour chatting with George Clooney. (Happy to report he’s as nice, unassuming, handsome, and charming as you’d hope he’d be in person – the bastard.)

    I’d have to go with:
“He’s engaged in the exact kind of corruption that America disdains.” on Gingrich.
But there are so many possibilities! Too bad many speakers (and subjects) are out of… touch? For example: Anthony Weiner, Herman Cain.
And Nicole473 has an excellent choice, also.
    Thanks for sharing.

    By category, my favorites:

QOTD: President Obama to Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner (honorable mention to Clint Eastwood on marriage equality).

Doof QOTD: John King on choosing what to cover on CNN (honorable mention to Haley Barbour on DADT).

Crazy QOTD: Bryan Fischer on the First Amendment (honorable mention to Orrin Hatch on taxation).

Dick QOTD: Bill O’Reilly on insurance companies being required to cover women’s health (honorable mention to Paul Ryan on the senior citizen arrested at one of his town halls).

Quote of the Year has to go to President Obama.
