1 Million Signatures for Recalling Scott Walker

The Wisconsin Democratic Party delivered over 1 million signatures to the Government Accountability Board to recall Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin today and over 1.9 million signatures in total including the governor and other members of the state legislature.

Approximately 540,000 signatures were required to initiate a recall of Governor Scott Walker, and nearly twice that many were collected.

In total, the number of signatures collected for recalling the governor is roughly 46% of the number of all votes cast in the 2010 gubernatorial election. Scott Walker won the race with 1,128,941 out of 2,160,832 total votes.

Needless to say, this is unprecedented.

If Walker is recalled, other republican governors will be scared shitless to try these shenanigans again.

Not Michigan’s governor. But he seems to be smarter than Walker, and a much more determined fascist type.
