Ultrasound Law Signed in Virginia

Bob McDonnell signed the anti-woman bill yesterday and even though it’s not invasive, it’s still intended to intimidate women while also shoving Republican politicians into private medical exam rooms. You could seriously call this a government takeover of women’s health — the wrong kind of government takeover. Remember, covering the expenses for end of life counseling was bad. Forcing women to get ultrasounds is okay. Figure that one out.

The approval comes amid persistent pressure from women’s-rights demonstrators to spike the legislation, which in its original form would have required many women to undergo an ultrasound with a vaginal probe.

Once the details of the procedure were discussed publicly, McDonnell urged amendments that would still require a transabdominal ultrasound but allow a woman to reject the more invasive procedure.

These people truly frighten me. But what frightens me even more is that these people were ELECTED.

Yeah, they were elected and every single one of them deserves to have a trans-vaginal ultrasound wand jammed firmly in their ass.

Republicans are dolts and I cannot believe that they get away with this crap.

“Obamacare will create death panels and get between you and your doctor”

Then they get between a woman and her doctor and add to the exponentially growing cost of medical care.

Make sure you take a look at the overkill they used to break up the protests in Richmond over the weekend. While showing the clip of the police dragging people off the capitol steps, the local newsreader described the protestors as being dragged away kicking and screaming – despite showing the exact opposite.

    They control the narrative.
