Best Idea Ever in the History of Best Ideas

Gawker evidently has a mole inside Fox News Channel. Yes, a real life spy working for Fox News and, after becoming disgruntled, plans to leak embarrassing information back to Gawker.

Love it times a million.

I always intended to keep my mouth shut. The plan was simple: get hired, keep my head down and my views to myself, work for a few months, build my resume, then eventually hop to a new job that didn’t make me cringe every morning when I looked in the mirror.

That was years ago. My cringe muscles have turned into crow’s feet. The ten resumes a month I was sending out dwindled into five, then two, then one, then zero. No one wants me. I’m blacklisted.

I work at Fox News Channel.

The final straw for me came last year. Oddly, it wasn’t anything on TV that turned me rogue, though plenty of things on our air had pushed me in that direction over the years. But what finally broke me was a story on The Fox Nation.

    Whoa. This is beyond awesome.

I was having a sort-of-crummy day, and this improved it 1000 percent. My co-workers are probably wondering about my gleeful smile.

The monkey in the wrench! Good for them! Love this.

So he actually thought he was building a resume by going to Fox. Fox is where Goofy Old People (GOP) go to die.

    • D_C_Wilson

I guess he didn’t see from the examples of Geraldo Rivera and Tucker Carlson that Fox is where you go when none of the legitimate news outlets will hire you any more.

According to Mediaite, Fox claims they’ve discovered the mole and they’re “exploring their legal options.” DAMN!!!

I was sooooo looking forward to reading that column everyday (while it lasted). It just didn’t last long enough.

I hope whoever it is will be able to get a job in the industry.

Well, that is apparently not true, because the mole has reported he is still under employ.

Thing is, it would be easier for Fox News to say he is a fake, rather than make the mole hunt public.

The “we got ‘im!” story just:
      a) gives him more credibility
      b) highlights their ineptitude even more than usual

Both of these are making be enjoy this more and more

Oh goody! I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s installment!

I imagine ole roger is breaking out the hot lights and rubber hoses…they’ll fucking torture people to find out who it is.

    • D_C_Wilson

Roger is probably locked down in his gay-proof bunker until the mole is discovered.

  • D_C_Wilson

    Annnd he’s fired.

What a shame. This was starting to be something great. Hopefully, he’ll get another job offer out of this.

I think he lasted all of 24 hours before Fox found him out. After the introductory post you quoted above, he wrote about the terrible state of the bathrooms at News Corp. I’ve never been more disappointed in a mole.
