Nugent Won't Be Stumping for Romney

Buzzfeed assembled a list of 10 really creepy things Nugent has said and done. For example:

4. Dated a 17-year-old when he was 30, then made himself her legal guardian

Seventeen-year-old Hawaii native Pele Massa was too young to marry Nugent. So Nugent made an agreement with the girl’s parents to become her legal guardian.

And this was the cover of his 2007 greatest hits album. Classy. I thought about posting it, but if you want to see how misogynistic it is, you’ll have to just click this link. Suffice to say, Spinal Tap would be outraged.

I wonder why, then, Romney literally sought out Nugent’s endorsement? Tommy Christopher reports:

Republican candidate Mitt Romney actively sought the endorsement of serial mouth-bomber Ted Nugent, and ought to be asked if he agrees with him.

Agreed.

    My wife’s cousin was married to his daughter. We went to the wedding. He didn’t have much of relationahip with her. It was common knowledge that he had plenty of kids all over he did have contact with.

    Romney’s panderware™ sought his endorsement for the NRA contingent votes.

    I don’t think Ted’s past will stop Romney from using him on the trail. This stuff has been public knowledge for a while, and it hasn’t stopped Hannity from being BFFs with him, or anyone else on the right from distancing themselves from him. He’s saying what they want to say.

      I kept trying to figure out why the photography was so bad and was wondering if he was doing it ironically. Imagine, The Nuge as a hispter! Then, reality crept back in and I remembered RWNJs do not have a sense of irony.

    I’m sure MR had no idea how crazy TN could be. In fact, I’d bet that MR knows very little about TN, except maybe a couple songs, and that might be stretching it.
