They Aren’t Serious

The Romneys are highly offended that a CNN pundit would dare question the validity of Ann Romney’s life experience in regards to relating to the average American mother.

So offended that she “loved it” and considered it a “gift.”

Ann Romney said on Sunday that Hilary Rosen’s comments about her role as a stay-at-home mom were “an early birthday present.” Ann Romney spoke at a fundraiser in Florida Sunday that was overheard and reported on by the press. “It was my early birthday present for someone to be critical of me as a mother, and that was really a defining moment,” Romney said, “and I loved it.”

Mitt Romney also discussed what his campaign dubbed last week the “war on moms,” calling it a “gift.”

Of course.

Ann and Mitt weren’t actually offended by Rosen’s implication, probably because what she said was correct, however it was the perfect opportunity to score a political point.

And the media bought every word of it. Suckers.

You can’t blame them, after all, they just sewed up the “motherhood funded by stock dividends vote” and I’m sure that’s HUGE.

Ann should save the “reverse psychology” for the less than bright toddlers in her family…you know the ones that will grow up, go to Harvard, and make a bazillion dollars.
