Town Crier Boehner Crawls Out From Under His Rock

…to insult the president.

House Speaker John Boehner today took on President Obama directly, criticizing the president for “shrinking from his responsibility to lead” on the economy and suggesting the president lacks “any courage to help tackle these problems.”

Courage is becoming the first black president of the United States.

Courage is going for the “grand bargain” and offering over $4 trillion in cuts and tax hikes.

Courage is ending DADT in a country that is still disappointingly homophobic.

Courage is publicly and repeatedly calling for the end of the bubble-generating, trickle-down-economics in a country that worships money.

I can think of dozens of cases wherein John Boehner has not displayed courage, but I don’t think I need to list them.

    Courage is continuing to try to better this Country in the face of an oposition party willing to destroy it just to win elections.

    Courage is resisting the temptation to punch Mitch McConnell right in his fat fucking face.

    Courage is even considering a second run for the presidency when he is completely surrounded by idiots, incompetents, and assholes. Republicans that just don’t give a shit about the poor and middle class.

    I can think of three issues on which the President is a confirmed coward.
    One, he refuses to deal w/ race in America. It went so far as to not protect his wife when she said she is proud of this country finally. As a African American man I know exactly what she was saying. he offered no protection to Van Jones or Shirley Sherrod when he had the high ground. And the disaster w/ Prof Gates when he is suppoded to uuphold all the laws of the land and he choked on beer.
    Two, financial institutions have had their way w/ America. They are the KKK to the American polity and are allowed to rape and pillage w/ impunity. the President and his AG have both publicly stated that their behavior was unethical and not criminal. Yet when the AG and the President settle a law suit the financial institutions are given immunity against criminal behavior. W-T-F
    Both are intertwined and in the history of the USA when the economy goes bad the racism rises from smoke to fire.
    Three, coming into office he refused to investigate anything the previous administration did in regard to torture and abuse of privacy in the name of national security.
