Romney foreign policy spokesperson Richard Grenell is evidently a prolific Twitter user and tends to write dickish things. For example:

rachel maddow needs to take a breath and put on a necklace

Hillary is starting to look liek Madeline Albright

#FreeContraception is really Obama’s population control strategy

the media outlets that aren’t reporting on the first daughter should remember that when obama talks about them on the campaign trail

So a brainiac like this is advising Romney on what to do about war and international relations. I can’t describe how vastly destructive a Romney presidency will be.

    I saw this and thought, “Another stellar move by the Romney campaign.” Did they not vet this guy before adding him to their team? From top to bottom, the Romney campaign coordinators and advisers have been stepping in bear trap after bear trap. It’s comical.

      Mitt Romney and his campaign staff wandering around in circles and stepping on rakes, à la Sideshow Bob, should be hilarious. Unfortunately, there’s a nonzero chance that these bumblers will be running the country in nine months.

      That thought terrifies me.

    Someone I used to work with once suggested that George HW Bush picked Dan Quayle as his running mate as the result of a bar bet: “I’ve got a fifty that says I could beat Mike Dukakis running with … Dan Quayle”

    The Romney campaign seems to have made a similar bet.

    I would like to amend that to “how vastly destructive a Romney presidency would be.” Will is much too declarative and would cause me to lose sleep at night!
