    Meg Whitman was CEO of eBay, but former HP CEO Carly Fiorina nearly became a US Senator. One of my favorite Fiorina quotes, in response to a question about outsourcing high-paying technical jobs to India (paraphrasing): “Americans don’t have a God-given right to a job.”
