John Edwards is a Dick

The prosecution rested yesterday in the John Edwards case, and wrapped up with a videotape of Edwards lying on television.

The Nightline interview aired just days after Edwards was photographed at the Beverly Hills Hilton cradling the infant daughter he had with mistress Rielle Hunter.

Edwards adamantly denied in the televised interview that he was the father of the baby and said he never asked any of his wealthy donors to support his mistress or his baby.

“I have never asked anybody to pay a dime of money. Never been told that any money has been paid. Nothing has been done at my request,” Edwards told ABC News’ Bob Woodruff.

“So if the allegation is that somehow I participated in the payment of money, that is a lie. An absolute lie,” Edwards said.

We also learning that Edwards really wanted to be President Obama’s attorney general. Can you effing imagine all of this breaking while he was attorney general? Reckless, irresponsible dick.

    Unlike conservatives, liberals will admit that one of their own, was certainly a dick, as you say. I challenge conservatives to make a list, which would be a long one, of those in their party that is a dick. (Pun intended.)

      I couldn’t stand this guy even when he was running in 04. I very briefly thought he was a good VP pick when some liberals I knew tried to convince me that he could deliver some southern states. I never ever saw anything in him that the far left was so enthusiastic about. I feel bad for his kids, but I’m glad he was finally exposed(again, pun intended).

    Lucky for us, Edwards had supporters and friends that knew better than he and quickly contacted the Obama campaign to steer them clear of this disaster.

    It’s really a shame, though, because he was such an effective proponent of progressive values when he was in the Senate. Oh wait…
