Conservatives in Clown Shoes

In classic self-satirical form, reporter Neil Munro from Tucker Carlson’s The Daily Caller interrupted the president’s remarks yesterday about immigration and immunity for younger illegal immigrants and began to literally heckle the president.

These guys are the worst of the worst. Cartoonish, reactionary, unhinged zealots rooting against the economy of the United States and treating the president worse than a high school substitute teacher.

These assholes on the right are getting worse and worse with their attitudes and behavior towards the president. No one ever did that to Bush with all the shit his administration was pulling. Munro needs his press credentials revoked until he decides to behave like an adult.

      I beg to differ…
You see, countless pajama-clad angry-at-the-world wingnuts have *clearly* stated on Yahoo! comments that this sort of thing happened ALL THE TIME to Dubya.

Have they brought up that someone went so far as to throw a shoe at him? I was wondering when/if they’d get around to that. . .

Yes, I read a comment on TPM or Charlie Pierce I believe.

Ron Christie made this exact argument yesterday in proving his point that disrespectful things happened to Bush, too. The takedown by Michael Eric Dyson was fantastic.

What I particularly “loved” about the whole incident was tucker carlson coming to this munro’s defense, stating that Sam Donaldson did the same thing as munro did during the Reagan administration. carlson even took offense to Diane Sawyer calling this munro “a heckler”.

You gotta read Donaldson’s takedown of munro, carlson and the right wing media at HuffPo. Finally, a reporter telling the truth and not doing that “both sides” crap.

The best part of this whole sordid affair is Neil Munro’s, erm, creative defense:

Munro, who serves as the Daily Caller’s White House correspondent, said in a statement that he “timed the question believing the president was closing his remarks, because naturally I have no intention of interrupting the President of the United States.”

The president hadn’t, as a commenter at TPM pointed out, even finished his sentence, let alone his remarks. Clearly, Munro had every intention of interrupting the President of the United States.

Here’s hoping he loses his White House press pass.

How did he get press credentials in the first place? It’s not like Tucker Carlson is relevant to anything.

When I saw this on the news, the first words that came to mind were “Daily Caller”.

    Conservatives in Clown Shoes

Maybe this should be headed “Conservative Clowns in Shoes”

  • ArrogantDemon

Whats comical is that Munro is an immigrant stealing the job of a perfectly good American asshat, can we deport him as well?

  • ArrogantDemon

And how long before one of them just blurts out n***er, c’mon, you know you want to, you fucker you
