Darrell Issa Is An Embarrassment

There’s no other word for it. Darrell Issa is a complete and total asshole.

Talking Points Memo has a collection of video highlights from today’s hearing on “Fast and Furious” featuring House Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa barking at Attorney General Eric Holder in a manner than goes far beyond prudence.

What struck me more than perhaps anything else was the imagery of Darrell Issa, the white man, at his seat of power cutting off the black attorney general in a hateful tone before he can even say more than a few words. It was ugly, unprofessional, and embarrassing. And at the end of it, Darrell “Piece of Shit” Issa claimed that he and Eric Holder “shared” hostility while the attorney general had displayed none.

And I’ll reiterate — Fast and Furious began in 2006 under George W. Bush and Eric Holder’s Justice Department wasn’t even aware of the program, which had long since been canceled, until 2011. Eric Holder has now personally testified before congress 8 separate times on the matter. This is an opportunistic, witch hunt spectacle perpetrated by Chairman Issa.

    I’m surprised that Issa didn’t throw out the N-word for the hell of it.

    Holder doesn’t deserve this shit. He’s been a damned good AG, but he’s been undercut by the GOP standing in the way of filling the ranks at the DOJ, and also some assholes on the Left are always bitching about him for not doing this (dragging Bush and Cheney out by their shorthairs to go on trial) or not doing that (finally legalizing weed).

    Issa is the last kind of person who should be chairing the government oversight committee. He has no interest in uncovering the facts of the matter. He just wants a head to mount on his wall. His mission ever since he took office was to manufacture an excuse to impeach Obama.

    He should have stuck to stealing cars.

        No, he says he’s a christian Arab, so I take him at his word (wink, wink). But in the rwnj world of hate, ALL A-rabs are supposed to be radical muslims, so I’m faux surprised they let him in.

        Indeed, the extremely religious sects of the three major religions that worship the same, “one true god” are very similar in their conservatism.
