Quote of the Day

I told him up front. If you go back 60 years what every president tried to do, including my own battle scars from President Clinton and the amount of time and political cost . . . If you’re doing this, you can’t do this, this and this. And you’ve got to weigh that and can you still achieve something on health care vs. also still trying to get other things done.

I told him many times the political cost of doing this and, thank God for the rest of the country he didn’t listen to me. -former Chief of Staff Rahm Emanual on the Supreme Court ruling

The president didn’t listen, and he accomplished much more than conventional wisdom would allow.

Faux News is in full spin trying to make the worst of a good situation. So far government can now seize your medical records, and the IRS can take away your house for not having health insurance. We will all be entered into a national database where all your private records can be snooped on. I’m not making this up.

“The president didn’t listen, and he accomplished much more than conventional wisdom would allow.”

But I thought it was more important that a Prez have a bunch of smart dudes around him than be actually smart himself. Silly me.

That was the problem the previous president had: He was a dumb guy who was surrounded by people who only thought they were smart.

Spot on Ash! I’m begining to think that Jon Stewart was right. This President is a full blown Jedi. SUCK IT HARD AND SWALLOW TEABAGGERS! Sorry for the vulgarity guys but, my sister and I are doing what we’re usually doing….DRINKING CHAMPAGNE AND GLOATING!
