Bill Kristol is Right and Wrong on Romney

Kristol on Romney’s tax returns in the context of the Bain fiasco:

Here’s what he should do. He should release the tax returns tomorrow. This is crazy… you’ve got to release 6, 8, 10 years of back tax returns. Take the hit for a day or two. Then give a serious speech on Thursday…

He’s right that Romney should release a buttload of tax returns. He’s wrong to think that it would only be a one or two day story. Hey, wouldja lookit that. Bill Kristol was almost right about something. Amazing.

Adding… A lot of other conservatives are curious about Romney’s tax returns.

I think a lot of conservatives are having buyer’s remorse now. The entire premise of Mitt getting the nomination was that he could beat Obama. They didn’t elaborate on how he was supposed to accomplish that, but that was the narrative. “He’s a successful businessman so therefore he knows how to create jobs.” Yes because no one has ever gotten rich from being unethical, or immoral. Never in the history of humanity has that happened. It’s all from creating jobs.

LOL I love seeing the Gospel of Wealth coming back to bite the GOP in the ass.

When your party consist of evil mad scientist and the brain dead cannibals they’ve created, it’s hard to find someone to run for national office that doesn’t come off as disgusting to normal people.
