Romney Dog Whistle of the Day

Romney continues to use the word “foreign” to describe the president’s worldview. Yesterday:

“It’s a very strange and in some respects foreign to the American experience type of philosophy.”

If you don’t think this is calculated to trigger thoughts of Birthers and socialism/communism and so forth, you’re naive. It’s not the first time he’s done this, and in the context of the McCain 2008 dog-whistles (“pals around with terrorists”) and Romney surrogate Sununu’s rants the other day, this is absolutely a calculated and coordinated use of the word.

That’s rich isn’t it? This asshole has money stashed in banks all over the world (except U.S. Banks) and he is calling the president’s worldview “foreign.” Does the irony escape any intelligent person’s view? Jeezus…

Doncha know? Mitt Romney loves America! Just not enough to pay his fair share of federal taxes (if any!).

He really is the worst candidate in modern history. I saw some bullshit NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll that says Americans think Romney has better ideas for the economy. WTF? They should have followed up and asked these idiots for some examples. This same poll also showed that Americans trust Obama to better represent the middle class by a 10 point margin. I’m not sure what’s going on here but, it appears that these are 2 different polls. And yes, Mittens gave his bullshit speech to a bunch of nearly dead WWII Vets today and repeatedly professed his love for this country which is odd considering he doesn’t keep his money here. What an asshole!

Americans have no idea what they want. Outside of the select few of us political observers, nobody has a freakin’ clue.

We want Brawndo. It’s got the electrolytes we crave.

Also plants. Plants crave those electrolytes too.

Can one hate a person they don’t know personally? Mitt Romney makes me feel all kinds of ugly inside.

That’s not a dog whistle; that’s an air raid siren. A dog whistle is some cryptic reference that only your supporters understand while the rest of the world goes, “Whuuuhhh?” Example: talking about the Dred Scott decision in an abortion speech.
