Don’t Feed The Troll

And when I say troll, I’m referring to Representative Darrell Issa, of course.

The GOP’s latest Nothingburger has attracted the attention of House Oversight Chairman Darrell “Witch Hunt” Issa.

The powerful chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Republican Rep. Darrell Issa, today escalated a showdown with the White House over use of personal email accounts to conduct official government business.

In a letter to White House chief of staff Jack Lew, Issa requested the names of all administration staffers who have engaged in the practice, their email addresses and copies of work-related messages sent outside of government email servers.

According to Darrell Issa, the American people “have a right to know that White House staff and federal officials are conducting the business of the government transparently and in accordance with record-keeping statutes.”

You know, just like they had a right to know nothing during the 8 years of the Bush Administration.

White House staff who used personal email accounts for official business forwarded their emails to their White House accounts to comply with transparency rules.

Like Fast and Furious and Solyndra, there’s nothing here.

Becasue we all know trying to solve non-existancing problems is soo much easier than trying to solve the real one. Plus it requires njot acting like a bratty 4 year old who was told that the third dessert they wanted was too much.

    • Victor_the_Crab

And when you behave like brats, the way Republicans have for the past three and a half years, you usually get the lether belt applied to your bare ass. Issa needs to be served first.

  • R Mulloy

This Issa guy is the scum of the earth. All GOTPers are for that matter.

  • gescove

So Mr. Issa will see to it that the oil company barons who attended Dick Cheney’s energy policy meetings at the White House will finally be revealed? Excellent!

  • D_C_Wilson

And when they send a response saying, “You’ve already got all the emails”, I expect we’ll see another contempt vote.

Imagine what would happen if the GOP put just half the effort they put into manufacturing scandals into actual governing.

Imagine if voters knew exactly how much taxpayer money is spent by these dolts pursuing fantasies (asshat fantasies at that).

All hail the House Republicans of the 113th Congress who sat on their petty tyrant thrones and dabbled as the nation burned.

  • Brutlyhonest

Tell that asshat A-rab issa (I personally have nothing against Arabs, but enjoy reminding the rwnjs that issa IS one) that the emails were sent to brother karl. And since we all know that rove is immune to congressional subpoenas, issa will never see them!
