One Steve King Fantasy Contradicts Another Steve King Fantasy

Representative Steve King (R-Batshit) said today that he’s never heard of someone getting pregnant from statutory rape or incest.

If that’s true, where did this story come from?

[King] suggests that liberals have so devalued life, that a man can rape a young girl, kidnap her, force her to undergo an abortion across state lines, and then “drop her off at the swingset….and that’s not against the law in the United States of America.”

At the time I originally posted that video I opined that King was actually describing a sick fantasy in his head, not reality. Given his statement today, one can only conclude that King is indeed a very sick man. And a liar.

Oh, by the way, the GOP convention platform committee has voted to include an abortion ban, without exceptions for rape and incest, in the official party platform. The chairman of the platform committee is Virginia Governor Bob “Transvaginal” McDonnell.

This guy is either a very poor actor, who can’t figure out a way to perform the GOP’s ongoing improv act without making an ass of himself and saying really offensive things, or he’s just a sick fuck.

I’d say Steve King is 30% lousy actor, 20% sicko and 50% dumb as a sack of hair.

One would think being a sick fuck would be an asset in performing the GOP’s ongoing improv act.

Shit, jus’ coz he ain’t never heard of it don’t mean he cain’t ‘magine it in his head-mind. He likes ‘maginin’ that kinda stuff in his head-mind. Makes him feel all warm and squiggly, like in junior high school when the vice principal made him turn his head and cough.

Steve King is not a well man. He is a threat to everyone around him. He needs psychiatric treatment and not another term in Congress.

Todd Akin said “doctors” told him the women-can’t-get-pregnant-if-they’re-raped lie (my money says they were Doctors of Divinity, assuming they exist). Steve King says of pregnancies from incest or statutory rape: “Well, I just haven’t heard of that being a circumstance that’s been brought to me in any personal way, and I’d be open to discussion about that subject matter.”

For Akin and King (and most Righties, for that matter), what’s important is what has been told to them personally. Never mind peer-reviewed science, which is all witchcraft and mumbo-jumbo anyway—hell, never mind reality—it’s whatever nonsense happens to enter their lug ‘oles that matters.

    Solipsism, thy name is Republicanism.

“one can only conclude that King is indeed a very sick man. And a liar.”

    Understatement of the century.
