Romney CFO was “Financial Outsourcing Consultant”

Here’s a great catch by the Boston Globe.

Romney’s chief financial officer was listed as a financial outsourcing consultant as recently as two weeks ago on LinkedIn.

The Mitt Romney campaign’s chief financial officer described himself as a “financial outsourcing consultant” on the professional networking website LinkedIn until at least July 17, according to a cached version of his profile page, but has since changed the description to “political/finance professional.” [...]

Before going to work for Romney, Bradley Crate was a trader at JP Morgan Chase, where he traded in foreign markets, according to his profile.

The change to Crate’s LinkedIn profile came as Romney was defending himself against charges from President Obama’s reelection campaign that he has a record — in the private sector and as governor — of outsourcing jobs to other countries.

Whoops?

I’m sure everything he did was ethical.

    I’ve got a theory.

    Mitt Romney’s campaign isn’t real, or at least it’s not what it looks like. It’s actually a surprisingly sophisticated political-science experiment, designed to test just how badly a presidential campaign can go awry before it finally collapses.

    Either that or the Romney campaign is run by nincompoops.

      I see two reasons for the way Mitt Romney and his election team are running their campaign. Either they’re the dumbest fuckwads around, or they really do believe that they can say and do any dumb shit they want because they genuinely assume the entire country is so eager to kick President Obama out of office.
