Romney Keeps on Lying

During yesterday’s introduction of Ryan:

“Unlike the current president, who has cut Medicare funding by $700 billion, we will preserve and protect Medicare and Social Security,” Romney said Saturday while introducing Ryan.

The trouble with this argument — made frequently by Republicans, including Ryan himself — is that Republicans have voted overwhelmingly for Ryan’s own budget which sustains the Medicare cuts in “Obamacare.” Conservatives argue that Ryan’s plan, unlike the Affordable Care Act, doesn’t use the Medicare savings to fund additional spending.

Whoops!

By the way, why the hell would Romney say such a thing knowing that Ryan’s budget and Medicare plan are out there? Because he doesn’t care. He just keeps on lying and lying.

What else has he got? NOTHING. He damn sure can’t tell the truth and win.

Can we also point out that the $700B in “cuts” (which a few months ago was $500B but who’s counting, right, and what difference does it make if both numbers are bullshit?) are not cuts to benefits, but cuts to things like waste, overpayments and things like that?

Never mind. Their freakin’ heads are spinning out of control anyway. Anyone inclined to understand this already does; those who don’t, never will.

This is going to be their front page talking point to put Democrats on the defensive.

Get used to calling bullshit on it.

And it bears repeating that if Medicare were left to these sociopaths, things like this would be considered an attack on Medicare and free enterprise. The government getting in between you and your fraudulent doctor.

They’ve been trying to bankrupt it for years, and now they’re trying to position themselves as the Medicare saviors.

“We have to kill it to save it” is their idea of preservation.

“Drown it in a bathtub”… to set it free.

Why would you need to keep the 500 billion cuts to Medicare if you are putting seniors on Vouchers?
$6,000.00 does not go a long way for health care. To about July.
