Speechifying

No one at the convention is using a teleprompter, right? No? Mitt probably should.

It usually looks so easy to get enough sigs. Surprising.

The personhood crap failed big time in Mississippi of all places. It is a bridge too far for almost everyone.

Usually the point of these initiatives isn’t to actually pass them, it’s to get all the evangelicals to turn out and vote Republican while they’re at it.

I believe this is the 3rd time they’ve tried to get this initiative passed.

    Enough already!

@Corabela: According to the story at HuffPo (I believe it was), the group pushing for this absurd legislation actually got enough sigs–the problem was they didn’t have enough VALID sigs.

Paul Ryan’s speech was chock full of brazen lies and demagoguery. He’s a serious hypocrite and asshole, but a dangerous one. Romney-Ryan utterly lacks a conscience and will stop at nothing to lie and deceive their way to victory. We’ve reached a low in American politics when one presidential ticket has zero allegiance with the truth. It appears that the media has started to take notice, but will it matter in the end?
