Worst Person in the World

The tea party and eliminationism is basically synonymous. A video has surfaced of an elected official in Michigan brandishing a sign depicting President Obama’s head on a stake, as well as then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi riddled with bullets and then-Governor Granholm with a noose around her neck.

After carrying signs suggesting President Barack Obama’s decapitation and former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm’s hanging at a Tea Party rally three years ago, Sterling Heights, Mich. Councilman Paul Smith has been asked by his colleagues to resign his post.

A video from a 2009 Tea Party rally in Troy shows Smith holding graphic signs condemning Obama, Granholm and Minority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi before his 2011 election to Council.

The least offensive text reads, “she turned Michigan into Detroit,” referring to the former governor, with other slogans reading “Extreme left b*tch,” on the Pelosi sign, and “He changed America into Uganda” on the sign with Obama.

And the very offensive video:

Disgusting, misguided maniacs. And I’m being charitable today.

Did you notice that this was April of 2009 — just months after the inauguration and the Republicans were already blaming President Obama for the debt.

What an idiot. Every Teabagger knows Obama turned the USA into KENYA, not Uganda. I guess all those black countries look alike to him.

On a serious note, isn’t it amazing how Obama had hardly been in office when these thin-skinned, whiny turds started talking insurrection and revolution and secession? I guess when your fear runs deep (one honest sign in the video) you will act this way. I just never knew all the implications hidden within black skin could be so remarkably negative and decidedly apocalyptic. Ohhhhhh, skurry black man! Skurry!

His sign also uses the words “wetbacks” and “fags”.

But the TEA Party isn’t racist! Or homophobic. They’re patriots, for gosh sakes!

Well, to be fair, there are other people in the crowd yelling “He’s a setup” during his interview. So opinions seem to differ among them.

I have a step-daughter who listens to her ill informed FOX talking point boy friend about politics. All she knows is that she “wants her country back”. So my wife asks her, “Back from what?” and she can’t answer the question. I’m constantly sending my wife articles to forward to her and I doubt my step-daughter reads any of them. She doesn’t want to be informed…it’s easier. She wants to bitch about something because she needs to bitch about something (She’s barely scraping by for a living). She refuses to become informed. She hits all of the talking points though and constantly cries “Socialism” without really understanding what it means. She’s a Medicaid recipient with a child…and one on the way…great.

My wife has concluded that the next time she calls up asking for a little cash to get by that she’ll refuse saying, “Sorry…that would be Socialism”. I hope I’m there when it happens.

Wow, you just described a whole lot of Obama hating, tea bagging, redneck asshats. Unfortunately I have a few in my family too. I’m working on them though

Oh hell. I live in Michigan and I’m embarrassed. But not surprised because I’ve always known that we harbor plenty of bigots.

On the other hand, these days I sometimes feel somewhat embarrassed just to be an American.
