Harry Reid SMASH!

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid took no prisoners while speaking on the floor of the Senate today.

So whose taxes would Mitt Romney raise?

We know he wouldn’t raise taxes for millionaires and billionaires or companies that ship jobs overseas. He’s made that very clear.

If you’re a math teacher, or a maid, or a single mother it won’t be Mitt Romney’s job to worry about you.

If you’re a multi-millionaire Mitt Romney won’t rest until you get a quarter million dollar tax cut. That’s what the Ryan budget does, and Romney likes that.

For all we know, Mitt Romney could be one of those who have paid no federal income tax. Thousands of families make more than a million dollars, pay nothing in federal income taxes each year. Repeat that madam president. Thousands of families making more than a million dollars a year pay nothing in federal income taxes.

Is Mitt Romney among those? We’ll never know since he refuses to releases his tax returns for the years before he was running for president. But from that one return, only one we’ve seen, we know Mitt Romney pays a lower tax rate than middle class families thanks to a number of things he’s done. Swiss bank accounts. Cayman Islands tax shelters. And we can only imagine what new secrets would be revealed if he showed the American people a dozen years of tax returns like his dad did.

There’s so many things wrong with Mitt Romney’s “47 percent” comments, along with everything else he was caught on video saying, that there will be no shortage of fodder that congressional Democrats can use to gain the upper hand in state and local elections.

It’s up to Democrats to capitalize on it, and Harry Reid is wasting no time.

According to the Twitter-box…he’s flip-flopped on those comments. Color me shocked!

Hey, Mitt, prove you’re not one of the 47 percenters.
